Young Ireland / Éire Óg Newspaper Aodh de Blacam founded the Young Ireland ( Éire Óg ) in April 1917 in order to help mould the nationalist ideals of Irish children. The Young Ireland publication had a close relationship with Pim's newspaper; The Irishman which often advertised the Young Ireland publication to help circulation. The Young Ireland publication was allowed to use the Sinn Féin Headquarters on Harcourt Street as its editorial offices.
