Prospectus Extract
In putting the first number of the "Liberator" before the public, we don’t wish to speak at any length of the marvellous things we hope to accomplish. We have not set ourselves to carry out any extraordinary programme; we do not propose to "set the World on fire"; but we do propose to publish a first class bi-weekly and shall spare neither expenses nor time to attain that object. Instead of promising any number of things, we prefer that our readers should judge for themselves as to the 'Liberator's worth. We shall at any rate enter fully for their requirements and it shall be our aim to augment their numbers as time goes on. While we don’t pretend to.
