Mr. William Tully, J.P, was the proprietor and Editor of The Roscommon Journal. Mr. Tully was an extremely well liked and cherished member of Roscommon’s community.
Mr. William Tully, J.P, was the proprietor and Editor of The Roscommon Journal. Mr. Tully was an extremely well liked and cherished member of Roscommon’s community. The Westmeath Independent published an article on Mr Tully’s passing in which it wrote ‘His sincerity of character and tenderness of heart made a lasting impression on the minds of the people, and he will be long remembered in Roscommon as one whose example exhibited the perfect and complete model of what a good citizen should be.’
Mr Charles Tully, William’s eldest son took the Roscommon Journal on he’s passing.
